A lab inside the clinic, not a referral

Most doctor's offices in Los Barriles either send your sample away or send you away. At LBHC the sample is drawn here, the process is supervised by a clinical chemist with more than a decade of experience, and the physician reviews the result with you. That full chain under one roof is the difference between a number on a page and an actual plan.

What we test

Hematology: complete blood count, blood type and Rh, erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
Blood chemistry and immunochemistry: glucose, BUN, creatinine, uric acid, lipid panel, liver function tests, thyroid panel, hormones.
Microbiology: urinalysis, urine culture, stool culture, stool parasite exam.
Panels and packages: 1,000+ tests available, with ready-made packages for general check-ups, metabolic health, men's health and women's health.

Preparation

Blood chemistry, lipid panel and glucose generally require 8–12 hours of fasting. Water is fine. If you take regular medication, tell us when you book — some need special instructions and some should not be stopped.

Results

Most routine tests are ready the same day or the next. We send them by WhatsApp or email. If the test was ordered during a consultation, the physician reviews it with you at no extra charge.
